Every Week Brings Something New

Enrichment experiences give children new ways to move, create, imagine and participate in their community. At the STRAUSS ECE, these programs are woven into the weekly rhythm and designed to complement what children experience in their classrooms.

Through music, movement, stories, performance and Jewish traditions, children practice listening, coordination, communication, creativity and self-expression. Each experience is adapted to the participating children’s ages and developmental stages.

Judaics with Rina

Through stories, art, music and shared traditions, children explore Jewish culture, values and holidays in welcoming, age-appropriate ways.

Yogie Land

Imaginative yoga adventures combine movement, music and storytelling. Children practice coordination, body awareness, confidence and self-regulation as they move through each adventure.

Music with Cantor Jen

Children sing, move, explore rhythm and experience a variety of instruments during joyful, interactive music sessions.

Puppet Theatre

Engaging puppet stories invite children to laugh, participate and use their imaginations while exploring friendship, feelings and meaningful social situations.

Shabbat

Children come together for songs, blessings, challah and a warm celebration of community with the Rabbi and Cantor.

Storytellers

Guest readers bring books and stories to life through expressive read-alouds, creativity and shared conversation. A different classroom is featured each week.

Enrichment offerings and participating groups may be adjusted during the school year.
